Effluent Solutions Australia offer two types of poly welding; Butt welding and Electrofusion welding.

 

We have experienced welders who have done poly welding for many years. Butt welds are high strength with complete fusion. With this weld you have distortion control and it's easy to inspect.

 

We use Electrofusion welding where access might be difficult, for example around other pipes or down in a trench.

 

Electrofusion weld can join different grades of the same material.  This weld is extremely safe and is a very strong joint.
